Choosing the Right Frame for Your Art

When it comes to displaying your artwork,Ā choosing the right frame for your art is essential. Not only does it help toĀ protect and preserve your art print, but it also adds a unique touch that can help toĀ enhanceĀ the overall look of the piece. The right frame can also help to draw attention to certain elements of the artwork, while making sure theĀ colors and textures remain vibrant.

WithĀ so many framesĀ available on the market today, it can be overwhelming to choose which one is the best for your custom art print.

Not to worry, I’ve done the heavy lifting for you!

I haveĀ handpickedĀ a couple of collections from my favorite brand to help you find theĀ perfect frameĀ for your artwork. Whether you’re in need of aĀ contemporary, minimalistic frameĀ that will showcase your work, or aĀ metal frame with modern flair, I’ve got your back.

My Favorite Frames

MyĀ all-timeĀ favorite frames are from theĀ brand Frameworks. Their frames hit theĀ trifecta: they areĀ well-made,Ā affordable,Ā andĀ available onĀ Amazon Prime. Frameworks offersĀ frame sizesĀ that accommodateĀ all of the print sizes thatĀ I offer, which isĀ another reason why I love them!

Here are the two frame collections I’m using now in my home and business

Metal Frames

If you’re looking for a modern way to display your artwork, look no further than Frameworks’ selection ofĀ metal picture frames! You can choose from a range of sizes and colors, includingĀ gold, silver and black – so you’re sure to find the ideal frame for your print. Metallic accents, particularly gold,Ā are back in home design trends. This frame collection is the perfect way to inject aĀ hint of eleganceĀ to your decor.

Wood Frames

Frameworks offers a wide range ofĀ wooden framesĀ to make yourĀ artwork look stunning. There areĀ six distinct colorsĀ to choose from, so you canĀ effortlesslyĀ find the right frame that will match your art piece and add theĀ finishing touch.Ā

To Mat or Not to Mat?

I love the look of a classic white mat. I think it adds that extra touch to a framed print. Keep in mind when you’re frame shopping to always make sure theĀ frame opening size is the size of your print. For example, if your print is 8ā€ x 10ā€, the frame may be an 11ā€ x 14ā€ with an 8ā€ x 10ā€ opening.Ā That is what you’re looking for!Ā When you’re frame shopping online, you’ll noticeĀ someĀ framesĀ make itĀ super clearĀ what the opening size is and others have it written in the small print. Ā

Bonus!Ā Both of the Frameworks collections I recommend haveĀ mats included.

Conclusion

Don’t let choosing the right frame for your artwork be a daunting task. Have fun with it! Whenever I’m in doubt, I buy a couple of frames to bring home with me. You can always return the other one or use it for your next piece of art.

Do you have a favorite frame?Ā Leave it in the comments! I’mĀ alwaysĀ on the hunt for beautiful frames.

Until next time,Ā happy framing!
